Dreams...the randomness

Dreams- as we all realise generally reflect the most random of our thoughts. I am not under a very strong influence of Sigmund Freud, but i agree with the statement that dreams do allow us to express our forbidden thoughts in a disguised form, and it is a kind of safety valve mechanism.
We all have random dreams and sometimes some of us force ourselves to think what could have been the interpretation. I believe our dreams reflect something or the other that is stored in our sub conscious memory. Sometimes we see situations and people we are familiar with, and we can relate to, and sometimes a totally new world. These new things can be our fantasies or desires.
My dreams are often very symbolic! really! I decode them the way I want to.....and I never find them meaningless. Our thinking process is very random and variable, so are our dreams. If you give it some time trying to find a link between your dreams and your thoughts, you would understand yourself better. Its a way of our subconscious to remind us if we are forgetting something that we don't want to let go of.
My dreams tell me a lot about myself..and they keep me going. However I am a day dreamer too....and go with these lines-
"Always keep a dream in your pocket
For its a nice thing to do....and it keeps on reminding you,
that it might come true"
So keep dreaming and dream big!

Nice entry ...
I dreamt that what I tried to escape while I was awake. And that sleep caused a higher awaken-ness within me. Truly, dreams are our subconcious and if interpreted in an honest maner show you the mirror of reality. Amzing is the system, the sub-concious which is trying to bridge the gap of ambitions, reality and action.
ALways kept a dream in my pocket,
it was a nice thing to do.
It reminded me of its pertinence
And I shall wait till it comes true

keep it up. . keep blogging..
